For a pre-bookable appointment please call the surgery from 10:30.

It’s easy to book or cancel an appointment with your GP or nurse online, 24 hours a day – just use our online booking system. You will need a username and password, available from our reception team.

Appointment times

Appointments can be booked for registered patients:

  • Weekdays between 08:00 and 18:30

Appointments are around 10 minutes long – enough time for one problem. If you need longer, please discuss this with the receptionist at the time of booking.

As well as providing appointments at Turner Road Surgery, we can also book you into the Extended Access clinics which run at Creffield Medical Centre. We offer appointments with GPs, Paramedics, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants – from 6.30pm weekdays and weekends. These are pre-bookable appointments so may suit your needs better if you find it difficult to always make our normal working hours.

Please speak to the Reception Team if you would like to pre-book and know more about these options.

We do ask that you arrive in time for your booked slot. Failure to do so may result in the clinician being unable to see you and you may be asked to re-book your appointment.

Remembering your appointment

We can text you to remind you of a forthcoming appointment. If you want to use this free service, speak to our reception staff.

No longer need your appointment?

Every month over 100 appointments are missed by patients who don’t let us know in advance. This means patients in need are missing out on an appointment.

Please let us know by either phoning the surgery or via the cancel an appointment form if you no longer need your appointment. If you fail to turn up to three or more pre-arranged appointments you may be taken off our practice list.

If you think you’re likely to forget your appointment, you can ask to receive our free reminder texting service – just talk to the reception team.
